Frequently asked questions.
Is it safe to get a massage in the first trimester?
Yes absolutely! As long as your doctor has not deemed your pregnancy high risk or at-risk then it is safe to get a massage in the first trimester.
Do I have to disclose my trauma to you?
No you do not! We do not have to talk at all if you aren’t comfortable. We will just hold space for you and your bodily healing.
What age encompasses your infant/pediatric bodywork?
Birth to 17! We see all ages for bodywork, it just looks different with different ages. For infants we recommend longer sessions to see a whole picture of their tension and if their tension is specifically related to feeding we recommend booking around a feed time. For younger pediatric clients (under 10) we recommend shorter sessions to begin with so that they spend time getting used to the space and practitioner and then lengthening as we go!
What if I want my child to get a massage but they don’t want to?
We will not massage any child who does not want to get a massage. We always work with the child’s consent.
Where are you located?
